AgFutura Technologies developed a project under the finance of FITR- Fund for Innovations and Technology development in North Macedonia.

The Fund for Innovation and Technology Development was established in December, 2013,  with the aim of encouraging innovation by providing additional resources to finance innovation, in view of the need to build a competitive economy based on knowledge.

Priorities and objectives are:

  • improved access to financial support for innovation and technological development;
  • promoting and encouraging innovation activities in North Macedonia.

What is RAMAS?

RAMAS or REMOTE AGRICULTURAL MONITORING AND ADVISORY SYSTEM presents a digitization of an already existing service of AgFutura. This is an application solution of inter-operable configurations of internet of things (IoTs-C) that provide reliable data for small and large scale monitoring and advisory in agriculture. RAMAS is a service innovation for crop MA based on innovative digital technologies (hardware and software). RAMAS is developed to support farming decision making, by providing MA services based on large amount of filed data, from each phase of the agricultural production in real time.

Key main attributes of RAMAS that present an advantage in comparison to our competitors are accuracy and promptness in delivery MA in economical way.

The project will be dedicated to test the RAMAS “proof of concept” in a  real agricultural environment consisted of a large farm for production of corn 500 hectares and a group of 5 farmers, producers of red pepper as case for larger number of small farms.

This is a project that started on 1st of June 2019 and it will last for one year, till 1 of June 2020.
