Agriteach 4.0

Project Overview

Agriculture has been changing fundamentally during the last 15 years, it is increasingly becoming a knowledge-intensive field of the global economy of the 21st century. New phenomenon like smart farminge-agriculture and Farming 4.0 indicate that cutting-edge technology, mobiles, smart devices, sensors and knowledge networks are more and more widely used for improving the productivity of the agricultural enterprises.

The aim of the project is to guide the agricultural VET teachers on the way renewing their teaching methods by providing them free online course of “Teachers for Farming 4.0”. This is based on the pedagogical model of networked learning.

The role of AgFutura Technologies in this project is coordination of the intellectual output dedicated to development of the syllabus and learning content for Agriteach 4.0. AgFutura coordinates the development of the learning content for the topic reinvention of agriculture, European strategies and initiatives on e-agriculture, and it is directly involved in the creation of the syllabus and content for the topic  Digital systems in Agriculture 4.0. As a partner in this project AgFutura collaborated and participated in the kick off meeting held from 11th to 13th of September 2017 in Budapest, Hungary with partners from:
